Look! Coming your way June and July - Flat Connections professional development

There are TWO opportunities coming up to join me and other globally minded educators to learn more about flattening the classroom walls, about tools and habits of learning to extend the classroom and about project design to create meaningful collaborations - both local and global. Both of these professional development courses are based on the renowned book on global collaboration, 'Flattening Classrooms, Engaging Minds: Move to global collaboration one step at a time', authored by Julie Lindsay & Vicki Davis, published by Pearson, available through Amazon.

1. Connect, Collaborate, Go Global! - a 2-day workshop in Atlanta! Designed as a 10-hour PD course with an option to join the virtual FCGE cohort and receive 2 graduate credits. 2. Flat Connections Global Educator (FCGE) - The next cohort will start early July. This course is virtual and takes 10 weeks to complete. Regular online meetings cement relationships between the global participants. The University of Northern Iowa provide 2 graduate credits for the successful completion of this course.
