Case Study 1.2: Kim Cofino - A Globally Connected Educator

The Global Educator - Case Study 1.2

Kim Cofino - A Globally Connected Educator

If any one educator could be designated to encapsulate the words ‘global’ as well
as ‘international’ it is Kim Cofino. In conjunction with her meticulous and methodical approach to embedding new technologies into effectively-designed curriculum Kim has a unique perspective on what it takes to move an international school forward, and shares her story of having led new connected and global teaching and learning approaches at international schools.

In this case study Kim shares her many experiences as an international educator in roles where student and teacher use of digital technology is a focus.

This is the second post in what will be a 36-week series featuring the 36 case studies from my book, 'The Global Educator: Leveraging Technology for Collaborative Learning and Teaching'. This book was published by the International Society for technology in Education in July 2016. It contains contributions from over 100 educators and case studies featuring over 50 educators. Follow this blog series via category 'theglobaleducator', and subscribe to the podcasts via PodBean.

The short Animoto below shares some of the highlights of the ISTE 2016 conference when I was able to share the book across different events, including the ISTE opening ceremony.
